Missing Children Europe is the European Federation for Missing and Sexually Exploited Children. As an umbrella organisation, it represents 23 Non Governmental Organisations (NGOs) active in 16 Member States of the European Union and Switzerland. Each of these organisations is active in cases of missing and/or sexually exploited children at grassroots level, including prevention and support for victims.
Google announced today, on Internet Safety Day, that the cooperation which it established with MCE's Italian member Telefono Azzurro in 2011, will be expanded to all members of Missing Children Europe, as the Google Search Appliance donated to Telefono Azzurro will now be made available for the full network.
